Everyone was so kind and helpful that worked here It was a small weekend holiday for myself to do some history tourism and beach bumming

I had such a great stay! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming — always around and happy to help. The place is beautiful, easy to get around, and in a perfect location. I loved all the little extras: the pool, the shuttle to the beach, and plenty of other comforts that made everything super relaxing. It really felt like a break. I’ll definitely be back!

The people in the reception and in the restaurant were very friendly. They let us leave the luggage in a separate room. The swimming pool area. The location. The parking. Breakfast ok.

The television is very small. Very few plugs to charge the mobile. The water pressure in the shower.

I was very surprised that this facility has 4 stars. Only the interior of the room and the foyer can give the impression that you are in a four-star hotel. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom is a plus. The staff at the reception were polite but very formal. The hotel's pleasant surroundings

The whole room stank because of the unpleasant smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. Suprise was towels that are slightly thicker than paper. Total lack of WIFI signal in the second building both in the room and in the corridor despite the assurance in the description of the facility that WIFI is available. For me this is unacceptable in a four-star hotel. I asked the staff at the reception but they did not help in the situation. Breakfasts served in the manner of the Covid-19 pandemic. No self-service. Confectionery, bread, cold cuts, cheeses served only by staff behind plastic windows. Which, when there were more guests, meant that we had to stand in line, because at times everything was served by one person, who tried to do it quickly. The young waiters tried to deliver the coffee quickly (almost running) and were very polite. Instead of real fruit juices, the hotel served fruit-flavored drinks and this is unacceptable in a four-star hotel. One morning I couldn't leave the building to go to another building for breakfast because in the hotel corridor two very aggressively behaving large dogs without a muzzle and without an owner stood in my way. I had to wait until the owner appeared. If the hotel accepts guests with dogs, it should require at least a muzzle if dogs move unattended in the public space of the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and courteous, even when faced with many guest queries. I found they always tried their best to meet the expectations of guests. The reception staff as well as the restaurant staff, pool bar staff, house cleaning staff were friendly and attentive. The pool is very nice, surrounded by lush vegetation.

Aside from the staff of the hotel, I would not recommend the hotel. Air conditioning was dated and barely worked. Our room had a strange odor and although the housekeeping staff cleaned very well, the room just felt like an attic room where would be a free guest for a night. Perhaps the rooms on the lower floors are nicer.

Breakfast: there isn't a war going on at Elba and the waiter shouldn't ration portions of food to the guests and decide that 2 slices of cheese is enough or deny pastries with an explanation that you alreday had one. Very, very limited choice of food at breakfast - no vegetables and the fact that guests are not allowed to take their own food.

Very beautiful and particular building in a perfect location to travel around the island. Clean, friendly and efficient staff, nice breakfast, good rooms and a very good value for what one pays, compared to other offers in the Elba island.

Management gave me an upgrade to a room where the shower was working properly ?

I tried to have a shower and the water was literally boiling…..the cold water was not working

I was appointed with a corner room - spacious with two windows both overlooking old pine trees. I never had a nicer view from a hotel room! During the warm summer night, a cool breeze is keeping you pleasantly cool. The furniture and sanitaryware were a bit outdated but well kept and clean. The hotel is in a historic building - expect high ceilings, many stairs inside the hotel, some original features - traditional wooden window shutters for example. All is very charming and squeaky clean.

There were no amenities in the room for making some tea or a coffee and the toiletries provided were modest - two shampoos and small soap. However, for a one-night stay it was ok.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially IRINA (IRENA) at the reception desk.

No hot hot water or TV on the first day but the hotel fixed these problems quickly.

It is a beautiful old building in a perfect location only 10 minutes from the port and the main beach. The staff are very professional and incredibly helpful.

I visit Elba for a short break each year, it is close to my home in Lucca. The service is amazing, great location, it has a pool and a private beach with transport. This is very much an old style hotel, with great service. I travel and stay in a lot of hotels and this one stands out for being classic and I love it. Stand out service from the staff who are always very polite and friendly. I had one small problem on my last stay, they went beyond anything I expected to solve a very minor issue, incredible. I have payed a lot more in other luxury hotels with terrible service. See you again in 2025.

Mansion, surrounded by impressive trees can be called “rustik”. Beautiful bar. Perfect, large, outside pool; plenty sun chairs and pool towels. Big parking lot.Very friendly staff.

Breakfast to be improved.

Staff, we asked for later checkout and it was ok. Could store our bags when venturing for the last day. Lots of options for breakfast and easy with bus just outside the hotel. Clean hotel room and smelled fresh!

Towels, works but can be improved just make them a bit more comfortable.

Perfect location among hills and bushes, near Napoleon villa in beautiful area. Great friendly staff Cristiano with team from restaurant and Teresa from reception, they are professional and it was always nice to chat with them as with while team over there cleaners and waitress). The food was great. Very big and clean swimming pool and overall so oryginal style in this hotel, who has a soul.

Quiet change away from beach life hustle but close enough. great building architecture and pool.

no Wi-Fi in rooms, difficult path from parking to hotel reception hauling bags.

it’s a bit far away but if you have your own vehicle then it’s no problem. the wifi unfortunately didn’t reach to where we were staying. the breakfast buffet was good but don’t have a lot to offer for vegetarian/vegan
